Our Mission
Founded in 2022, FARcited is an SBA certified Economically-Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) dedicated to providing the highest quality contract management support.
The federal contracting world can be quite complicated. Whether it's reviewing Request for Proposals, preparing proposals and agreements, responding to CPARS evaluations, reviewing the FAR along with other regulations or another cumbersome task, it is not an easy industry to navigate. FARcited Consulting is here to make it easier.
Meet the Owner
Laura Hild, owner of FARcited Consulting, has over 15 years of federal contracting experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Towson University in Business Administration - Legal Studies and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore. Upon graduating from the University of Baltimore in 2007, Laura started working as a Contract Specialist for the DoD earning DAWIA Level III Contracting Certification.
In 2012, Laura began working for the U.S. Army and was promoted to an unlimited Contracting Officer supporting the Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC). In addition to serving as a Contracting Officer, Laura also served as a Contracting Officer Representative and a Business Management Analyst at Aberdeen Proving Ground supporting organizations such as PD SAI and PM MC before transitioning to the private industry as a Contracts Manager in 2021.
